Same way you got all your other skills. Some you can buy, some you can quest for, some you can capture.

I searched all around the towns/outposts for Monk Skill Quests but could not find a single person that gives anymore quests :'(. I guess I have to buy all the spells. Im going to be soo poor, skills already costs 600 just for 1 skill :'(

How many do you really need? A good single target heal, group heal, rez and one or two other util spells maybe. My E/Mo does just fine with Heal other, healing breeze, heal party, and rezurrect along with her nukes. Or are you wanting protection or smiting skills?

So if that means you need to buy all skills from your "new" secondary profession, is it even possible to get all skills from a second secondary profession with one character?
My current character, a mesmer/warrior only uses a handfull of warrior skills. The quests however reward me with all sorts of warrior skills which I will never use for that character. Now lets say once I reach ascension I want to change from warrior to elementalist. Depending on the situation I want to choose between the various elementalist skills. I will basically use more different skills from my new secondary profession (elementalist) then from my old (warrior). Since its not possible to quest for the elementalist skills, I will need to buy them using skillpoints (which you don't get many of anyway). So, am I right to asume it is best/easier for new characters to always pick a secondary class from which they need the most skills? The skills from the professions where you will only want a handfull of skills from, could then later on be bought using skillpoints. |

WEll, i only need healing skills but the only healing skills i have is dwayna's kiss, healing breeze, and heal other. Where can i get a healing skills that will be able to target more than one target, and where can i get ressurect skill?
I need a healing skill that will be able to heal myself, since i cant heal myself with dwayna's kiss and heal other. And Healing breeze doesnt heal you automatically, it justs healys like 6 hp /sec for 10 sec. |

You can buy Heal Party and Resurrect both from Captian Osric in Yak's bend. And yeah, not being able to heal yourself is the only thing that hurt about going from necro (blood) to monk as my secondary.
